Jody Newman earned her Nail Technician License from the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology after successfully completing the program at Capilo Institute in April 2005. While attending classes she was awarded 'Best Sculpted Nails' from OPI, the 'Ambitious Performance Award' and 'Creative Performance Award'.

Jody was previously employed at a Day Spa in Thopsam Maine as a full time Nail Technician where she furthered her studies on common nail and foot conditions and how to care for them. Jody was Lead Nail Technician for The Senator Inn and Spa for 2 years. There she provides healthy nail care for manicures and pedicures. She also is the owner and creator of "I Do Spas" Maine's first traveling day spa.

Jody is a member of the The International Pedicure Association and has her Master Pedicure Certification. Jody has lived most of her life in Maine. She has been married for 17 years and has two children. She met her husband while she served in the US Navy in San Diego CA.
